1. Controller
Timo Wessels, Jochim-Sahling-Weg 92, 22549 Hamburg, Germany. Email: membership@mybeverageguide.com
2. Principle
This website processes personal data to the technically necessary minimum only. It uses no advertising, no analytics and no third-party tracking, and it loads nothing from another server: reading its pages sets no cookie and sends no data to a third party. There is no newsletter and there are no social media plugins. Cookies are set only if you log in or use the cart and the checkout, and then only those the shop needs to work.
3. Server log files
When you access this website, the hosting provider automatically collects information that your browser transmits, in so-called server log files: IP address, date and time of access, the page or file requested, the previously visited page (referrer), and your browser type and operating system. This data is technically required to deliver the website and to ensure its stability and security. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and trouble-free operation of the website). The log files are deleted after a short period.
4. Hosting
This website is hosted by: ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich, owner René Münnich, Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, Germany. The provider processes the data described in Section 3 on our behalf. A data processing agreement (DPA) pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the provider.
5. Contact by email
If you write to us, we process your email address, your name if you give it, and the content of your message to answer you. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR if your message concerns a membership, and otherwise Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR (our interest in answering enquiries). Our mail is sent and received through the mail server of the hosting provider named in Section 4. We delete your message when the matter is closed, unless a legal duty to keep it applies.
6. Memberships, orders and accounts
If you order a membership, we process the data you enter at the checkout: your name, email address and postal address, the plan you choose, the order and invoice data and the reference of your bank transfer. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR (performance of the contract) and, for invoices and bookkeeping, Art. 6 (1)(c) GDPR together with the retention duties of German tax and commercial law, which require us to keep these documents for up to ten years. After that they are deleted.
Payment is by bank transfer. We see the transfer in our own bank account; no payment service provider is involved and no payment data is passed on.
When your membership starts, we create your account on mybeverageguide.com, the guide this membership belongs to. Both websites are run by the controller named in Section 1. They exchange only what the account needs: your email address, the kind of member you are, your plan and when it ends. Your account and the entries you publish stay in place when a plan ends, until you ask us to delete them.
7. Fonts
The fonts used on this website are served locally from our own server (self-hosted). There is no connection to third-party servers (such as Google Fonts), and no data is transmitted to third parties in this respect.
8. SSL/TLS encryption
For security reasons, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption (recognizable by “https://” in the address bar).
9. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), and a right to object (Art. 21). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The competent authority is: The Hamburg Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Der Hamburgische Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit), Ludwig-Erhard-Str. 22, 20459 Hamburg, Germany.
